1:00 PM - 2:00 PM (CDT)

Event Details

Join WCMA, federal partners, and industry experts on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. (CT) for a free webinar on food safety research findings and regulatory updates related to the current outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI or H5N1) among U.S. dairy herds.

This program is open to all those in the dairy industry, regardless of their membership status with WCMA, and is made possible in part by funding from the Dairy Business Innovation Alliance (DBIA).

Our program features a special presentation from Dr. Steven Grube, Chief Medical Officer in the U.S. Food & Drug Administration's Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition, and will include a situation report from federal regulatory partners, a review of new research findings and studies currently underway, and a live Q&A session.

If you’d like to share a question in advance, please email WCMA Communications Director Grace Atherton at gatherton@wischeesemakers.org by Monday, August 5 at 12:00 p.m. (CT).
