Job Title: Cheese Grader

Description: Are you currently or would you like to be a Licensed Wisconsin Cheese Grader? Are you looking for a long-term career in the cheese industry? We have a strong passion for what we do and enjoy helping customers be successful. As a Grader, you will:

• Process orders to get ready for shipments, receive orders and pull blocks of cheese off pallets for shipment, and submit paperwork.
• Grade cheese
• Evaluate different cheeses
• Record and analyze data from the cheese
• Participate in grading sessions
• Help maintain Quality Department Standards and documentation needs for Food Safety with head of QA
• Process orders to get ready for shipments
• Pull blocks off pallets for small shipments
• Prep retail orders
• Assist in misc. projects

Experience, Skills and Abilities:

• At least one of the following: Experience working with inventory in a warehouse, experience working directly with food, experience working on the production floor, and/or a food science related degree
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• Proficiency in Excel
• Accurate data entry skills
• Detail oriented
• Self-directed with the ability to work in a team environment
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

Hours/Employment Type: Full Time, Monday-Friday 7:30-4:00pm or 8:00am – 4:30pm

Salary/Wages: $18.50/hr (will transition to salaried position)
