Job Title: Industrial Sales Customer Service Representative

Description: As an Industrial Sales Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for coordinating activities for bulk cheese sales, inventory adjustments, order fulfillment and billing, including but not limited to order entry, invoicing, sample requests, customer specifications, customer/vendor relations, logistics/delivery requirements, warehouse releases and drop shipment purchases. Also responsible for outside bulk complaints, supplier documentation and quality programs, and customer compliance / questionnaires.

  • Enter sales orders and maintain quotes and other forms in the ERP and Atrium systems, ensure proper PO/inventory is allocated to the order.
  • Issue warehouse releases and split requests for bulk product shipping from outside warehouse locations.
  • Monitor open sales order report, contact customers, storage facilities, suppliers and Masters Gallery Foods logistics personnel to gather required documents related to sales.
  • Assemble sales and shipping documents and enter receiving information for drop shipments for invoicing.
  • Resolve customer complaints, quality problems and deductions with the customer.  Involve Sales, Procurement, Suppliers, Accounting and Quality as needed.  Ensure that any issues are resolved on a timely basis and that the appropriate debits/credits are issued to the customer.
  • Provide input and assist with planning of purchases based on customer order patterns and information from the customer.
  • Maintain customer profiles and coordinate new account setups.
  • Provide overall customer service to maintain a favorable relationship and build future sales.
  • Maintain and publish reports as required.
  • Provide sales assistance as needed.

Experience, Skills, and Abilities:

  • High school diploma with additional secondary education preferred.
  • Three to five years of experience in sales, customer service or purchasing, preferably in the cheese industry.
  • Knowledge of customers, products, vendors, product quality, and Masters Gallery Foods production capabilities.
  • Knowledge of the ERP computer system, personal computers, Microsoft Office and Outlook products.
    Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess good typing skills.
  • Must have good mathematical and analytical skills, problem solving ability, and accuracy.
  • Must understand cheese specifications to meet customer needs.

Hours/Employment Type: Full Time
