Description: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations. This position involves overseeing quality management systems, conducting audits, and collaborating with various departments to enhance product quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems in accordance with CGMP standards.
  • Conduct regular quality audits to ensure compliance with industry standard regulations and internal policies.
  • Analyze data from quality inspections to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with production teams to fabricate processes that enhance product quality and efficiency.
  • Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics and present findings to management.
  • Facilitate training sessions for staff on quality assurance practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead investigations into non-conformance issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Maintain documentation related to quality systems, audits, inspections, and compliance activities.

Experience, Skills and Abilities:

  • Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Management.
  • 2 years + of Quality Assurance experience in food grade equipment.
  • Prior experience in food manufacturing - specifically the dairy or cheese industry.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex data sets and generate actionable insights for process improvement.
  • Experience conducting quality audits and inspections within a food manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience and ability to implement HACCP, GMPs, FISMA, SQF, FDA, WDATCP, Kosher and internal auditing is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge in sanitation, swabbing techniques and procedures, EMPs.
  • PCQI, required.
  • HACCP, required.
  • SQF Practitioner, preferred.
  • OSHA knowledgeable, preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, if needed.

Hours/Employment Type: Full Time 

Salary/Wages: $55,000-$60,000
