WCMA Young Professionals to Tour Agropur Ingredients in La Crosse

Registration is now open to Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association members – age 40 and under – for a Young Professionals event in the La Crosse area on June 28.

The day-long event begins at 10:00 a.m. with a tour of Agropur Ingredients, a world-class formulator and manufacturer that supplies expertise, ingredients, and services tailor-made to address unique production needs in the dairy industry. The company’s global reach provides logistics support to over 50 countries, with 75 percent of its products sold and shipped outside the United States.

After the tour, participants will join a group lunch followed by an afternoon nine-hole round of golf at Coulee Golf Bowl, located in nearby Onalaska.

“We are delighted to offer fun-filled Young Professionals events because they are a great way for WCMA members to network,” said Kirsten Strohmenger, Events Manager for Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association, the host organization. “And there’s great opportunities to learn as we get a look behind the scenes at an international powerhouse like Agropur Ingredients.”

This event is limited to 30 people. The registration fee is $20, including lunch. The golf outing is optional and will be paid individually per person on-site.
